Roofing questions, answered straight.
Cost, insurance, timing, warranty and emergencies. If yours is not here, call 801.839.4186 — someone picks up.
Cost and financing
- How much does a new roof cost in Utah?
- Most Utah homes land between roughly $9,000 and $22,000 for a full asphalt shingle replacement, depending on size, pitch, layers and complexity. Metal and tile cost considerably more.
- Is the inspection and quote really free?
- Yes. We inspect, photograph and measure the roof and give you a written quote at no cost and with no obligation.
- Do you offer financing?
- Yes — 12 months same as cash, or low monthly payments over terms up to 240 months. The application takes about 60 seconds, uses a soft credit pull, and gives an instant decision with next-day funding.
- Do you require a deposit?
- We discuss payment terms in writing before any work begins. You will never be asked for a large cash payment up front by someone knocking on your door.
Insurance and storm damage
- Does homeowners insurance cover roof replacement?
- It covers sudden weather damage — hail, wind, fallen trees, weight of snow and ice — but not age or wear. On an approved claim you typically pay only your deductible.
- Do you handle the insurance claim?
- We document the damage with photographs, meet your adjuster on the roof, and submit supplements for anything the first estimate missed. You file the claim; we handle the roofing side of it.
- What if my claim is denied?
- Denials are often reversed. We can request a re-inspection with our photo report and weather data, and your policy's appraisal clause exists for scope disputes.
- Can you waive my deductible?
- No. Anyone who offers to is committing insurance fraud and putting your claim at risk.
The work itself
- How long does a roof replacement take?
- Most residential roofs are torn off and replaced in a single day — often under ten hours. Larger, steeper or tile roofs take longer, and we tell you up front.
- What happens to my landscaping and driveway?
- We protect plants and hardscape, catch debris as we go, and magnet-sweep the property before we leave. A spotless site is part of the job, not a favour.
- Do I need to be home?
- Not for the whole day, though it helps to be there at the start and the walkthrough at the end.
- What warranty do you give?
- A 25-year warranty on every roof we install, in writing, alongside the manufacturer's material warranty.
Timing, weather and emergencies
- Can you roof in winter?
- Yes, with the right materials and temperatures. We also do winter repairs, ice dam work and emergency tarping throughout the season.
- My roof is leaking tonight — what do I do?
- Call 801.839.4186. We answer 24/7 and can tarp the roof to stop water before it reaches your ceilings and insulation.
- How soon can you get out to look?
- Usually within a day or two for a free inspection, and the same night for an active leak.
- Which areas do you serve?
- Every county in Utah, plus southwest Wyoming — Evanston, Lyman, Cokeville, Green River, Rock Springs and Rawlins.
