What to do while you wait for us

   Stop the water inside

   Put buckets under active drips and pull furniture and rugs clear. If a ceiling is bulging with trapped water, pierce it at the low point into a bucket — a controlled drain does far less damage than a collapse.

   Cut power to affected rooms

   If water is near lights, fans or outlets, switch those circuits off at the panel.

3. 03

   Photograph everything

   Wide shots and close-ups, inside and out, before anything is moved or covered. This is your claim evidence.

   Call us — do not climb up

   Wet or storm-damaged roofs, especially with snow or ice, are how people get hurt. We are insured, equipped and awake.

Yes. Call 801.839.4186 any hour. Storms do not keep business hours, and a roof leaking overnight can soak insulation, drywall and framing before morning.

How much does emergency tarping cost?

It depends on the size and pitch of the area to be covered. When the damage is part of a storm insurance claim, emergency mitigation is usually a covered line item on your policy — we document it for exactly that reason.

Should I wait for my insurance company before I tarp?

No. Every policy requires you to take reasonable steps to prevent further damage. Photograph the damage first, then get it covered — and keep the receipt.

How long can a tarp stay on?

A properly installed tarp holds for weeks, which is normally enough to get through adjuster scheduling and material ordering. It is a stopgap, not a repair.
